TimTax exists to serve the tax planning and preparation needs of those serving as ministers or missionaries in churches throughout the United States.

When asked whether or not we should pay taxes, Jesus responded "render unto Ceasar the things that are Ceasar's and render unto God the things that are God's."

IRS publication 517 contains a specific set of rules that apply to income earned for ministry related services.  This may include teachers and administrators in Bible-based colleges, Christian camps, and private Christian secondary schools as well those serving in a church setting on either a full-time or part-time basis.  It even applies to traveling evangelists and missionaries!

TimTax is committed to developing ministry compensation plans and tax returns that pay the government every dime the law requires...but not one cent more!
